The 7-mile mud run takes place Saturday, March 9 and includes more than 25 natural and manmade obstacles. After the race, all participants celebrate at the coliseum-event field party amid concessions, vendors, open competitions, and a kid's course. The first wave of runners departs at 9 a.m., followed by waves every 30 minutes until 2 p.m. Participants can sign up for any wave during registration. Gladiators should bring a change of clothes and a photo ID.

The Gladiator Mud Run

Victory doesn't come easy. In the case of The Gladiator Mud Run, it stands just beyond competitors’ reach at the end of more than 25 extreme obstacles that test agility, endurance, and mental resolve. During the challenge, participants crawl, run, leap, and dig through intense manmade and natural challenges, some of which require swimming or admitting that Russell Crowe is just CGI animation. The coliseum waits at the end of every run, where gladiators conquer a final challenge in full view of spectators. Once participants have finished, the event field transforms into a party where gladiators can celebrate knowing they've earned bragging rights and accomplished some good: a portion of each registration fee benefits a choice of children's charities.
