Aqua Lipo is a water-based fat-removal system that delivers results similar to conventional liposuction but without the downtime or side effects such as bruising or swelling. The treatment begins with an initial consultation with a physician, who can determine whether the patient is a good candidate for the procedure. Once approved, the surgeon applies a local anesthetic and makes a small incision in the fat layer that lies just below the skin's surface. A water jet is then used to flush fat cells from the area, which helps promote tightening of the skin. The procedure typically takes about 30–45 minutes to complete, and since it requires no general anesthesia, most patients can expect little to no downtime. Surgical appointments can be scheduled for weekdays from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
