Questions and Answers

Are the lessons for adults? Is accoustic available? Is any prior musical knowledge needed?

Paul W. asked 1 year, 12 days, 5 hours, and 10 minutes ago - 1 answer

James T.

You would be fine as an absolute beginner or at any level. Kids over 5 or under 150 years old. And yes acoustic lessons are given too.

Does the student need to own a guitar? Or will one be provided?

Elle asked 1 year, 13 days, 23 hours, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

James T.

You will want to own a guitar. There will be homework. Fun homework. We do sell guitars and have them starting at $100. You can borrow guitars during the lesson at the store.

What is the youngest age I have an 8 year old daughter that is interested. Thank You!!

Rhonda D. asked 1 year, 13 days, 10 hours, and 32 minutes ago - 1 answer

James T.

Rhonda, Currently our youngest student is 5 years old. The biggest thing is that your daughter has and holds an interest. If she stays interested music can be something she enjoys for her entire life.

Do you have any women guitar instructors?

David Y. asked 1 year, 13 days, 10 hours, and 32 minutes ago - 1 answer

James T.

David at this time we do not have any female instructors. We have a few women we can refer you to if you call in.

How appropriate is this for a 4 year old? We're thinking of giving him a starter guitar for his birthday.

Owen P. asked 1 year, 13 days, 11 hours, and 1 minute ago - 1 answer

James T.

Owen-4 may be too young for guitar. It really depends on the student. We have seen a number of younger children enjoy the ukulele as it is a real instrument that physically fits them.
