In yoga, each pose is named after either the shape of the body or the wild animal it's most likely to scare away. Frighten dogs and pigeons with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $30 for three fundamental anti-gravity yoga classes (a $60 value)
- $65 for one private anti-gravity yoga class for up to 11 people (a $130 value)
During anti-gravity yoga classes, students of all ages and ability levels use hammocks to master basic grips, inversion poses, and other flowing sequences. The classes combine the benefits of yoga, strength training, and meditation to leave students feeling confident and renewed. See the class schedule here.
The Hang Out
Though hammocks hang from the ceilings at The Hang Out, they aren't for dozing. Rather, their soft cloth material serves as both a trapeze and support system for students taking yoga moves off of the mat and into the air. Inversion poses challenge the mind and body during fun, exhilarating workouts that also empty ears of loose change.
Designed by Christopher Harrison with athletes and gymnasts in mind, AntiGravity sessions have since been modified for everyday exercisers. The classes blend elements of dance, yoga, Pilates, and calisthenics to sculpt muscles and help participants get in shape without ever unrolling a mat or touching the ground.
