The Indian Hut

Nestled deep in downtown Toronto, a simple yellow brick facade beckons to passersby with steaks of blue neon and tantalizing aromas that hint at the feast of South Asian cuisine hidden inside The Indian Hut. There, buffet spreads and linen-clad tables bear plates of savory lamb kebabs, creamy paneer, and tandoori chicken cooked inside a clay oven. Beds of basmati rice and fluffy pieces of naan accompany main courses, and notes of cumin, fenugreek, and curry spice feed hungry olfactory lobes. Warm light and earthy yellow and orange tones decorate the intimate space, accenting the multicolored tapestries and Indian prints that hang from the walls.

Great vegetarian selection. Love the pakoras, they are always crispy!
