The Fireplace Room at The International
The International combines 36 holes of world-class golf with exceptional cuisine from Chef Joseph Brenner, who plied his craft working for years alongside celebrity chef Todd English. Stationed in the middle of the courses’ 600 acres of evergreen forests, The Fireplace Room showcases Chef Brenner’s rotating menu of seasonally inspired international recipes made largely from local ingredients. Even the restaurant’s design showcases an appreciation of the seasons, with rows of windows and a patio capturing views of the surrounding forest. At night, the view improves as spotlights illuminate the evergreens.
However, the club's crown jewels are its pair of golf courses: The Pines, open to members only, and The Oaks, open to the public since May 2012. Originally sculpted into the landscape in 1957 and redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1972, The Pines course was ranked the second-hardest course in the country by Golf Digest in 2007. The Tom Fazio–designed The Oaks course affords panoramic views of the Nashua River Valley to complement its golfer-friendly course play.
Aside from golf, the resort also offers activities that range from snowshoeing to yoga, all available within its extensive facilities or through its proximity to local attractions.
