Questions and Answers

Can a grandparent buy a family pass to use with their 4 grandchildren? Thank you .

beverly o. asked 3 months, 17 days, 16 hours, and 51 minutes ago - 1 answer

Carrie H.

We do invite Grandparents to purchase this Groupon, however it will only be valid for grandparents and up to 4 grandchildren whose names would be added to the membership. If you have more questions, please feel free to call our membership office at 314-822-8900 x533.

I have asked this previously in e-mails and phone calls to your place, and the answer I always receive is different than your response to "Christine M" above. We have 5 kids in our family. Would they all be allowed in on the pass, along with two parents? I have been told by workers in your office that I would have to pay extra for one of my children, because they consider a family "2 adults and up to 4 of their own children." So, can 2 adults and 5 children use the pass without paying extra?

Jackie asked 3 months, 17 days, 17 hours, and 18 minutes ago - 1 answer

Carrie H.

Jackie we did have an old policy that limited the number, but we have changed to accommodate larger families. A family membership is for two named adults and their dependent children (age 18 and younger) from one household. Your family of 7 would be able to fit on this membership without any additional fees.

We have been to the Magic House previously. We saw the new construction site, oval office and mystery area with beanstalk. However, I am thinking that a 12 year old and 13 year old might be too old for many of The Magic House offerings. Can you please advise me as to the age range that would benefit most from the Magic House. Thank you.

Cheryl A. asked 3 months, 17 days, 22 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

Carrie H.

We believe that The Magic House is fun for everyone, from 1 to 101! The museum offers exhibits and activities for visitors of all ages, from adults to teens to toddlers. However, each child is different and it really is a personal decision on if you believe that your family will enjoy this membership. Another thing to consider, if you have a family of 4 and visited on 2 different occasions this membership would pay for itself.

How many people can you put on a family pass? We have 4 kids - can we put 6 people on our membership?

Christine M. asked 3 months, 17 days, 18 hours, and 25 minutes ago - 1 answer

Carrie H.

Family memberships are for two named adults and their dependent children (age 18 and younger) from one household. You would certainly be able to put your 4 children on this membership.

Carrie H. answered 3 months, 17 days, 17 hours, and 41 minutes ago

The Fine Print states that this deal is only good for new members. Can you clarify what constitutes a new member? I had a membership 2 years ago. Would I be considered a new member again?

Jennifer P. asked 3 months, 18 days, 14 hours, and 8 minutes ago - 1 answer

Carrie H.

Jennifer - that would be considered a renewal. If you have any further questions you can call the membership office at 314.822.8900, ext. 533.
