Choose Between Two Options

  • $1,499 for upper or lower eyelid surgery (a $3,000 value)
  • $2,998 for upper and lower eyelid surgery (a $6,000 value)

Known as blepharoplasty, the procedure removes any excess fat, muscle, and loose skin that have built up around the eyes in an effort to reduce puffiness and under-eye bags. Before the approximately 60-minute surgery, Dr. Brian Maloney, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, consults with clients to ask and answer questions, determine the best technique, and run down the risks and expectations of the procedure. For upper-eyelid surgery, he makes a small incision along the lid, whereas the lower-eyelid procedure calls for an incision either along the lash line or inside the eyelid. No matter the technique, Dr. Maloney uses fine sutures—either dissolvable or permanent (which will be removed one week later)—to minimize scarring. Postoperative patients can expect some swelling, bruising, and discomfort.

Maloney Center for Facial Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgeons can “fix” anything on the body, but Dr. Brian Maloney doesn’t work that way. Instead, the head of the Maloney Center for Facial Plastic Surgery treats only the face, neck, and scalp, eschewing opportunities to perform other surgeries to foster a more specialized—and therefore more proficient—practice. Following thorough one-on-one consultations, Dr. Maloney, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, helps clients achieve the look they desire, be it a smaller nose, fuller lips, or a tighter forehead. Besides going under the knife, patients also can opt for one of the doctor’s nonsurgical procedures, including Botox, facial peels, and a range of acne treatments, which include wire-brush dermabrasion and punch grafts that resurface acne scars with healthy skin.
