Exercise detective skills and untested telepathic abilities as taste buds examine a scrumptious spread with Murder at the Masquerade, an evening of mock murder and faux fatalities set at a ritzy ball packed with masked revelers. The comic mystery begins with a murder and the arrival of a detective on the scene to locate the perpetrator in the audience. Attendees work with tablemates to solve the caper and clear their good names, slyly sleuthing, sorting out clues, and sketching out blueprints for a deerstalker hat with integrated deer radar. The Murder Mystery Company recommends that guests arrive 30 minutes before the show begins. See the schedule for a list of performances.

The Murder Mystery Company

The Murder Mystery Company's talented troupe of improv actors performs live-action murder mysteries at public and private events to sharpen guests' latent detective skills. Throughout the play, the cast drops hints and misdirects blame, inviting audience members to get involved in a web of intrigue and hilarity. Besides public dinner parties, murder mysteries can unfold during corporate events, team-building exercises, and birthday parties for aging Sherlock Holmes impersonators.

The Groupon Guide to: Things That Are Safe or Not Safe to Put in Your Mouth

Everything looks delicious these days, but only some things are actually safe to put in your mouth. Here's a guide to things that look good enough to eat:

Marbles: Safe
Reason: Rubbing marbles against your teeth will wear them down to rounded nubs that feel much better against the tongue.

Sponge: Not Safe
Reason: You'll put a nice, dry sponge in there, and when it comes out it's going to be full of saliva and completely unsanitary to wash dishes with.

Laundry-Detergent Pods: Not Safe
Reason: This yummy candy burns the mouth.

Universal Remote: Safe
Reason: Thousands of uniquely flavored buttons will make your taste buds feel like they’re at the greatest circus of their lives.

Bread: Not Safe
Reason: The worst hazard of them all—there is no way to breathe through bread.

Are there any foods that don't pose an immediate choking hazard?
