It's common practice to shake hands upon meeting new people so that you can hold down their dominant hand while your partner takes their wallet. Snatch a new look for your hands with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $15 for a 30-minute shellac manicure (a $30 value)
  • $32 for a 60- to 90-minute shellac manicure and regular pedicure (a $65 value)

During a pedicure, a nail technician massages, exfoliates, and soaks feet as clients sit in a massage chair. Clients receive OPI polish on the feet and shellac polish that wards off chips for up to a few weeks on their hands.

The Nail Room

The Nail Room’s Ellen Idema has beautified thousands, maybe even gazillions, of nails over her 24-year career. Working from inside the Healthy Life Spa, Ellen slaps shellac polish onto fingernails, coats toenails in brightly hued OPI polishes, or covers keratin sheets with acrylics. She also hand files each nail for a natural thin appearance similar to a light pole flattened by a bright pink anvil.

The Groupon Guide to: Fairy Tales

The Brothers Grimm were German storytellers known for their fanciful—and sometimes gruesome—collection of household tales. For centuries their stories have entertained children and taught everyone about the dangers of eating a pudding that isn't yours. Here are the titles of some of the Grimms' most-loved works:

  • "The Pretty Lady and the Animate Puddle"
  • "Genevieve Horsehair"
  • "The Ape and the Unwashed Fruit"
  • "The Boy Who Learned to Live in Terror"
  • "The Girl in Asphalt Shoes"
  • "Young Thorple, the Baby Who Chased Away Time"
  • "The Elderly Trumpeter Who Was Utterly Alone"
  • "Great Verns and His Merry Lute"
  • "The 20 Siblings Who Murdered Death"
  • "The Donkey Who Led His Owner into a Hole"
  • "King Gilder and the Grand Grave"

Could eating someone else's pudding cause you to suffer a tragic downfall?
