The Deal

  • $21 for one general-admission ticket ($35 value)

The festival takes place on November 16 at 12 p.m.–6 p.m. inside Ponce de Leon Avenue's Yaraab Temple. Visitors with general admission get the opportunity to enjoy beer samples from 30 breweries to the tunes of music performed by eight live bands. They also receive bites from onsite food trucks and complimentary gifts from other local vendors.

The Ponce de Leon Beer Fest

When searching for a theme for their craft-beer expo, The Ponce de Leon Beer Fest's organizers realized they already had one in their venue––the Yaarab Temple––which sits on Ponce de Leon Avenue. The explorer famously sought the Fountain of Youth, so they decided to actually create one. In doing so, they asked their participating breweries to bring their freshest ideas and most experimental brews, making their taps flow with some of the the youngest beers available. More than 30 breweries––including Red Brick, Monks Meadery, and Orpheus Brewing––complied.

To keep the experience as enjoyable as possible, they festival's creators decided to limit the number of guests to 1,500. They also brought in enough bands to book two stages for the duration of the event. They even invited a number of food trucks to fend off guests' hunger with their edible engine parts. Proceeds from the event benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
