America has always been the most extreme country, from the Boston Tea Punchings to having the first man swear on the moon. We hold this shredding guitar solo to be self-evident with this Groupon.

The Rad Run
On May 17, hundreds will gather at Sollevato Vineyard in Junction City to test their endurance against one of the state’s most daunting 5K obstacle courses. Old tires, teetering stacks of hay, Christmas trees, mattresses, and other obstructions litter The Rad Run’s course, along with lots–lots–of mud. Race participants of many fitness levels and as young as age 14 scramble across, under, over, around, or through each obstacle. Once they cross the finish line, they can check out photos of their journey snapped by LaDuke Photography, and can take a well-earned trip to the beer and wine garden, where a DJ will be doling out 80's hits throughout the festivities.
Awards winners are announced throughout the day after each heat, and there are plenty of things to do in between each presentation. Beer, wine, and food will be available for purchase all day. Racers also will receive bananas, chocolate milk, doughnut holes, bagels, and other snacks to replenish any fuel spent on angrily shaking their fists at haystacks. A kids’ tent will keep tots occupied with face-painting, craft activities, and a chance to meet the Oregon Duck, Sluggo, Raddie the Rad Rabbit, and other mascots. The entire event benefits six local nonprofits, including Lane Blood Center and Mascots for a Cure.
