I just purchased my first Groupon. When I saw Chow Baby, I HAD to buy. How long until my coupon is emailed to me?

This is my very first purchase, so I need a little clarity….tomorrow the coupon will be emailed to me and it will expire the next day (16th), but I will be able to use the coupon at both locations? Thanks in advance….
It will expire ONE YEAR from the 16th on 09/16/2010. So you have plenty of time. Just wish there was one on the EAST side of town.

Does anyone know if this coupon can be used on more than one visit or until it is fully expended?
I sometimes dine alone for lunch, but can’t use the entire amount at one sitting. I think Groupon should have an agreement that certain offers (mostly the restaurant visits) accomodate for those of us who need more than a single visit during patronage.
I was so excited that I bought 3 of them…I am sure I will use them within the next year!

To Killa’ Mike… unfortunately, this is a one time use deal. With thousands of people purchasing, it would be quite difficult to issue gift cards with remaining balances. But hey, it’s a great reason treat a good friend to a nice meal (or even better, bribery.)!

This is an AMAZING deal. These deals, when offered at Half Off Depot, always sell out within hours. It’s a great deal, and a wonderful experience that you get to tailor completely to your liking.
It is 11.99 for dinner – and for a dollar more, you can make unlimited trips to the ingredient line. This groupon will totally make two people satisfied, and certainly take a chunk out of dinner for three or four.
PLEASE check out the web site for a better explanation. It’s one of my favorite places, and one of the reasons I need to lose twenty pounds.

Everybody I know loves Chow Baby! You pick your own veggies, meat, seasonings, sauces, etc. so you can’t go wrong. I was already planning on going tomorrow so the timing of this offer is perfect!

I love Chow Baby! This is such a great deal. Just printed my coupon and will be using it tonight. This is my first time using Groupon. Hopefully it won’t be my last. Nevertheless, hope to see other Groupon users there tonight! Enjoy!

I use my Chow Baby groupon on sunday and had no problems. It was crowded, but the food was great. They even have other options for kids besides the stir fry. Such a great deal!
I used my 1st of 2 chow baby groupons on Saturday at lunch. Bought 2 meals, a tea, and had enough left over for a margarita, but when I got the bill, the groupon was put in as a Creative Loafing discount, which I guess doesn’t cover alcohol. I didn’t see anything on the groupon excluding alcohol, but I thought I might have missed it so I waited til I got home to look at the one i had not used yet. Looked at the deal page and see no exclusions, so I think the waitress should not have used that discount. I wasn’t able to use the full value of the coupon and had to pay for the drink.
FYI – Tax, alcohol and gratuity are almost ALWAYS excluded with these. Even if it doesn’t say it, it’s safe to assume. If you get food that’s UNDER the groupon amount, you won’t have tax, so it usually leaves just gratuity unless you go over. But I would assume going forward that the groupons don’t cover alcohol – if it really matters to you, call the restaurant before buying, speak to a manager, get their name, and then tell them you spoke with so-and-so and they said alcohol was included. Safest way to be sure.
My husband and I went Saturday, and LOVED Real Chow, Baby. It was delicious! We’ll be back there, for certain. Thanks, Groupon!

Carla, which location did you go to for the $9.99 deal? When we went to the Howell Mill one, the waitress told us the Groupon couldn’t be used with any other deals or promotions so I just wanted to check. Thanks!
The Howell Mill location honors the Groupon for meal and drinks. I called and spoke with a manager, Wes. He said that all the managers there know about it and if there is an issue ask to speak with a manager.
I went to Howell Mill and I saw on the bill the waitress honored it. I did not ask because I did not think she would combine but she did.
@ Amanda, I think 8.99 or 9.99 is the lunch price. The 11.99 is the dinner price.
@ Howell Mill there is a $9.99 dinner special between 5pm and 7pm. Chow Baby!
