Questions and Answers

Is this special only for the area around the mouth? or can it be used in any other area?

Alma C. asked 6 months, 18 days, 23 hours, and 54 minutes ago - 1 answer

The Rejuvenation Ctr .

Hi Alma, This special can be used in the face wherever it is needed. I recommend purchasing a full syringe of radiesse and when you arrive for your consultation you may switch the filler to Juvederm if you like. Radiesse is usually done in the mid face upper cheeks in a small amount to fill loss of volume or into the cheekbones if needed. It is mainly placed in the nasolabial folds commonly known as the "parenthesis lines" that go around the nose and mouth. Juvederm is best used when needed for lip lines around the lips or to actually fill the lips for a little volume.

Can either of these products be used under the eyes?

April B. asked 6 months, 18 days, and 47 minutes ago - 1 answer

The Rejuvenation Ctr .

Hi April we suggest that Restylane be used in the "tear troughs" under the eyes. If its for loss of volume in the upper cheeks directly under the "tear troughs" than we commonly use Radiesse. If you could call us we could go into detail on what the tear troughs are which is basically the under eye area in the actual eye socket. People often think they need it there but if you have mid face drooping under that area sometimes it could be loss of volume close to the tear troughs and Radiesse would help greatly. If its truly just in the tear troughs alone, we recommend Restylane in that area. We do not recommend Juvederm or Radiesse there.
