Choose Between Two Options
- $15 for a 1.5-hour children’s painting class (a $30 value)
- $22 for a 3-hour adult BYOB painting class (a $45 value)
During painting classes for all age groups, students follow along with instructors, creating a predetermined subject with supplied materials while socializing and stretching artistic muscles. Kids’ classes, available for ages 4–6 or 7 and older, teach children how to render cartoon sheep, flowers, mustaches, and more. Three-hour BYOB classes for adults might result in a peacock, Tuscan villa, or some other creation. Throughout the session, participants can munch their own snacks, and adults can sip home-brought wine from provided glassware. See the full schedule for available class times and subjects.
The Royal Canvas Painting Parlor
At The Royal Canvas Painting Parlor, owner Cassie Black and her staff of art instructors teach painters of all skill levels to create canvas-bound masterpieces. Each class blurs the line between artistry and social interaction, like when Leonardo da Vinci would bring the Mona Lisa to parties as his date. The focus falls on a predetermined painting composition, ranging from a quirky, cartoonish sheep for children's classes to re-creations of iconic works such as van Gogh's The Starry Night to challenge more adept artists. While students follow step-by-step instructions, they sip wine, nibble snacks, and rediscover their creative side.

“Arrive early to set up your area with food and snacks. Forego the socializing until the end. There is lots to learn and I found there to be lots of meticulous work at the end (once the canvas has dried) so I felt rushed to finish before the class time was over. This was a fun and different girls night out idea but it was a lot of work.”
“Being food to enjoy to, it is a blast!”
