Tattoos that were done in black often take on a greenish hue as they age. When you all say that you can't remove green is that what you all are referring to, or do you mean ones done originally green?

I've heard on average, it takes 6 sessions. I plan to purchase this Groupon. My family has been very supportive in me having a tattoo removed and if possible would like to purchase another Groupon on my behalf. Would I be allowed to use these 2 Groupons to total 6 sessions?

Can you remove tattoos that are raised, i.e. that turned into a hypertrophic scar?

Yes, we can remove tattoos from hypertrophic scars. We would first need to perform a "test spot" to see how the area responds to the laser. I would also recommend injection of a steriod after the laser treatment to decrease/minimize the hypertrophic scar.

It varies from person to person. It depends on skin type, age and size of the tattoo, and if it was done by a professional or an amateur tattoo artist. It can be as few as 4 treatments and as many as 10 sessions.

Do you have to do all 3 appointments before May 15, 2013 or just start the process by doing your first treatment by May 15? Since you need to space out the treatments, it seems a little unreasonable to require all 3 treatments to be done by May 15. Thanks!

The sessions should be spaced out about 8 weeks apart. You don't have to finish all three of them but if you would like to get the best results, I recommend that you follow the tattoo removal protocol. :)
