What's the main difference between the two options? Whiter and even longer results?

Donna T. asked 3 months, 21 days, and 48 minutes ago - 1 answer

Samantha M.

The Gold Treatment has two 15-20 minute sessions and the Platinum has three 15-20 minute sessions. The first session primarily opens the pores of the teeth so the whitening gel can do its job. The second session is usually where noticeable results start to show, and the whitening potential is maximized with the third session. So yes, whiter results that should last longer, especially if you follow up at home with a maintenance kit or touch up pen and Minerals Enamel Booster to seal in the results.

How does it affect white spots on teeth (possible Flouride spots, have had them since childhood) ?

carolyn E. asked 3 months, 20 days, 2 hours, and 50 minutes ago - 1 answer

Samantha M.

Unfortunately, our treatments probably won't help with the fluoride spots.

I have teeth that are capped/crowned -- that being said, is this a service that I cannot use?

Charlie L. asked 3 months, 21 days, 4 hours, and 53 minutes ago - 2 answers

This treatment is effective only for natural teeth.

You may still have the service, but it will not whiten your crowns.

Samantha M. answered 3 months, 20 days, and 30 minutes ago

My teeth are gray and I have been treated with a number of whitening systems, but nothing seems to work. Can I get my money back if you aren't able to whiten them? I have had dentists say the grayness is from Tetracycline (spelling), but others say it doesn't look like its from Tetracycline.

Your natural underlying tooth color may be gray - and that shade typically does not produce the desired results. But yes, we would be able to honor a refund if you get no results. "Natural tooth colors that are brown or gray in hue may not produce desired results. Typically, teeth with a yellow hue will produce the best results." http://dentistry.about.com/od/cosmeticdentistry/a/toothwhitening.htm

I'm curious if it will take off any of the enamel on my teeth and if the whitening treatment will make my teeth more susceptible to cavities/future stains/sensitivities? I've never had a cavity and the health of my teeth is definitely important to me, so I don't want to be doing something that may be potentially harmful? (especially not something that will potentially hurt them in the long run)

Kayley G. asked 3 months, 20 days, 18 hours, and 33 minutes ago - 1 answer

Samantha M.

Your enamel will naturally lose minerals and grow thinner over time. Things like acidic foods, acidic beverages, and peroxide teeth whitening DO increase this process temporarily. You want to avoid these things as much as possible. That's why we recommend in-office whitening no more than once every six months. We also recommend that you seal in the whitening and remineralize your teeth by applying Minerals Enamel Booster at the end of your whitening treatment as well as at least once a month.
