Is it OK to buy this and use it again if I already did it last time it was a groupon? I see it says new members only, but since I never bought a full membership after the groupon was over last time, am I considered a member? I’d love to buy this one again, it’s a great facility….

I am not in town the month of January, can I start in Feb. and not expire until April. Judy
Does this offer cover use of the tennis courts? If so, does it allow me to bring a guest, or would I need an additional card for that? Thanks.

We can not extend the expiration date. However, if you started Feb 1 you would still have 51 days to use 29 visits.

I read that there is on-site childcare – even for folks that are just using the groupon and are not members?

You can use the childcare but please call the location that you will be visiting prior to arriving to make a reservation. It will be an additonal cost.

This is a great Christmas present! I know it says one Groupon per person, but that you can buy for friends…what happens if someone receives multiple as gifts? Are both valid?
Does either facility have raquetball courts? Do you have to pay to park at either facility? and do the clasess cost extra (yoga/core/etc…)? I looked at the schedule on the website and didnt see any $ next to the classes. Thanks.

We do not have raquetball courts. The La Jolla Sports Club will validate for 2 hours and during the Groupon Special at The Sporting Club we will not be validating. It will be street parking.

I just bought this and it has my name as recipient but I can give tis to someone as a gift and then they can use it?
I can’t seem to locate the key for the schedule. I see (3)s and (H)s and $.

Facebook user: go directly to the club’s website www.thesportingclub.com and click on Schedules at the top it should give you the full class schedule.
FYI 3 is for the 3rd floor classes, H is for classes at the Hyaat, $ is for classes with a additional cost

The classes look great at both locations. Do you know if the December schedule will still be effective between Christmas and New Year? I would like to take advantage of some the classes offered during the day that I cannot typically attend due to work. What is the holiday schedule for the gym in general?

We will have a holiday class schedule for 12/24/09 with club hours 7am-3pm. We will be closed on 12/25/09. We will have holiday hours again on 12/31/09 and 1/1/10.

I purchased 2 but the Groupon system did not ask me for names. Do we register our names the first time we come to the gym?
The address on Groupon for La Jolla Sports Club is wrong. The correct address
is 7825 Faye, NOT 7625 Faye.
How does the $10 off for referrals work? I referred 4 people to this deal but they said that there was no mention of putting who referred them when signing up…

how much do they charge for the classes marked with a $???

There are different rates for each of the classes with the $. Master Swim will be $7 during your visits while you are a member and is $25 for nonmembers. The Gravity and Reformer Classes are small Group Training classes that you can purchase as a single class or as a package of classes. Please call the club (858) 552-8000 and specify which classes you are interested in and we will give you all of the rates.

I have been going to the Sporting Club with the Groupon and it’s a nice club. Not too crowded at all. Friendly folks at the desk and they have little snack lounge with a couch. Street parking is kinda tight but I usually find something and walk up the hill.
could the Sporting Club run a deal like this for the spa ? :)
