$45 for a Three-Hour Golf-Simulator Session ($90 Value)

Golfers practice their shots on the FlightScope simulator while sensors measure ball variables such as trajectory, spin rate, speed, and launch angles in real time. FlightScope also provides swing analysis by measuring head speed, club attack angles, and face angles.

The Sports Training Academy

Inside The Sports Training Academy's 25,000-square-foot facility, professional instructors help athletes develop skills that emphasize multisport training: core strength, coordination, speed, and a competitive edge. By focusing on multiple sports, the academy believes young athletes will be more well-rounded and less prone to burnout than if they dedicated all of their time to one activity.

Though its curriculum may be geared toward training across the sports spectrum, the academy’s facilities offer a plethora of sport-specific resources for golf, baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. The golf training facility keeps clubbers sharp in the offseason with two golf simulators, an 800-square-foot putting green, and an indoor driving range where golfers can see 30 feet of ball flight. Sharp line drives speed over the synthetic turf in the baseball and softball training areas, where players practice batting, pitching, and sculpting old gum wads. Meanwhile, a 4,000-square-foot rink of indoor, synthetic ice hosts hockey-training exercises for shooting and deking.

The Groupon Guide to: Remaining Calm

Life is full of stressful situations that challenge our ability to remain calm. Whether you're in the middle of a heated debate or being chased by a gaggle of exes, use these techniques to remain even-tempered:

Take a Deep Breath: Feeling air slowly enter and leave your lungs will remind you that nothing really matters because we are all just balloons that move air around.

Count to 10: Ten is the most calming number because when turned sideways it looks like a thin man sleeping on a big, round rock. He's freer than any of us.

Think about Something Positive: You'll feel better if you imagine something peaceful such as a smiling child, a clear blue sky, or a horse playfully biting his master's hand.

Repeat a Positive Mantra: Many people are soothed by chanting "this too shall pass," and others like to repeat "I'm the one in charge, I sail my own barge."

Which number looks like a free man? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
