Running a race is one of the great human challenges, alongside raising a child and peeling a ripe mango without basically ruining it. Go the distance with this Groupon.

The Stampede takes place on Saturday, May 18, with waves beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing in half-hour increments until 4 p.m. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and participants are encouraged to arrive 30–90 minutes before their race time. Each runner receives an official The Stampede T-shirt and a commemorative race number, as well as a medal, water, and fruit slices upon the completion of the race.
The Queen City Stampede
Though many timed races focus on endurance and speed, The Queen City Stampede emphasizes a different element: fun. During their various 5K dashes, participants of all ability levels test their balance and strength by surmounting obstacles and give their minds a workout with puzzles around the city. Many of the races have two courses—one for racers aged 6–13 and one for those 14 and older. At the end of the run, runners head to The Stampede Village to purchase food and drinks or dance along to live music.
