  • $65 for a BYOB painting class for four (a $140 value)

In preparation for classes that last 2.5 to 3 hours, customers bring a beverage and snack of their choice to a fully equipped art studio. As they sip and nosh, a local artist will lead them through their own re-creation of a famous painting or artistic design. No matter their experience level, participants leave these painting classes bearing a completed work of art. Browse the calendar of upcoming classes, which includes a preview of the artwork. This Groupon is valid for any of the $35 adult classes. Though students must be 21 to consume alcohol, older teens and precocious talking dogs are also welcome.

The Uncorked Artist

Though she worked as a graphic designer for more than 25 years, Tara M. Smith never considered herself an artist until she opened The Uncorked Artist, a casual salon where artists and locals of all experience levels come together to paint, drink, and unwind. The welcoming studio is stocked with all the painting essentials: smocks, brushes, canvases, paints, and bowls of fruit trying to launch their modeling careers. Though the studio does schedule open painting time, its staff of artists also leads painting classes, camps, and parties for adults and kids.
