The LightSheer Duet laser system is effective on all hair colors except white. Appointments typically take between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. A cooling tip and small application of numbing gel minimizes discomfort. Patients should shave treatment area prior to treatment, and avoid tanning, plucking, waxing, and electrolysis within six weeks of treatment. Most people need 8 to 12 sessions for optimal results.
