Third and Main: Historic Restaurant and Tavern

Though much has changed in Aurora since 1891, one thing has remained the same: the bar inside the former Coachlight building. The facility now houses Third and Main: Historic Restaurant and Tavern. There, the building's original liquor license hangs behind the 122-year-old bar while black-and-white photographs strewn throughout the 60-seat main dining room conjure more memories of the past.

To summon guests back to the present, chefs plate housemade, creative American dishes crafted with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. They stuff patties of certified Angus beef and freshly ground short ribs with mushrooms and blue cheese, and toss creamy ranch, tomatoes, and bacon into BLT-inspired salads, to be paired with a selection from their extensive craft beer list. In addition to the dining area, meals unfold on a bi-level patio that surrounds up to 90 patrons with southern-style garden fixtures such as flower boxes full of blooms.

The Groupon Guide to: Remaining Calm

Life is full of stressful situations that challenge our ability to remain calm. Whether you're in the middle of a heated debate or being chased by a gaggle of exes, use these techniques to remain even-tempered:

Take a Deep Breath: Feeling air slowly enter and leave your lungs will remind you that nothing really matters because we are all just balloons that move air around.

Count to 10: Ten is the most calming number because when turned sideways it looks like a thin man sleeping on a big, round rock. He's freer than any of us.

Think about Something Positive: You'll feel better if you imagine something peaceful such as a smiling child, a clear blue sky, or a horse playfully biting his master's hand.

Repeat a Positive Mantra: Many people are soothed by chanting "this too shall pass," and others like to repeat "I'm the one in charge, I sail my own barge."

Which number looks like a free man? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
