Questions and Answers
Can I purchase an additional one as a gift for a friend?

I think i have a similar question as taylor.. Can i bring in my family (i.e 4 to 6 – total ) for a family shoot?
hi taylor t.,
Our studio photoshoot area can comfortably hold up to 6-7 people.
hi Ashish K.,
Yes you can bring your family of 6.

What about pets? Can pets be the main subject or included in the photo?
Yes, you can purchase additional ones as gifts.. thanks!
Phoebe, from This is It made my job easier and answered your questions. (She’s awesome!) Please let us know if you have anything else about todays that need to be cleared up.

within the one sitting can we do different groups of people…i.e. my grandmother with her kids’ respective families, or would i need to purchase a groupon per family? also the studio fits 6-7 comfortably…is it possible to do 12 uncomfortably?
I was interested in getting portraits done. Does the studio do hair and makeup? Or provide costumes etc?
Hi Tracy C.- yes pets can be the star of the photoshoot (we love pets).
Hi Taylor T. – yes you can purchase 1 groupon for your photoshoot – we can take photos of different family group combinations within an hour.. and yes we can do 12 but uncomfortably (be warned) but that will surely be fun.

I have the same question as Taylor T. I want to take a family photo and the immediate family (including myself) is 10 people.
Hi, I have just called and talked with you 30 mins ago. How do I purchase more than 1 groupon for your photoshoot, i dont think the website allow me to change the quantity at this point. Sorry, its my first time using groupon, please advice.
Sort of off topic, but can photographers (in general) use pictures they take of us for their own use? Let’s say I become super famous (haha) and they want to sell my picture to TMZ, have I waived my right to prevent this when I sign a contract with them or is there some privacy policy protecting me from this?
In all seriousness, I’m just wondering what the standard policy is on using pictures of clients (i.e. for their portfolios, advertisements, etc).
thanks! can’t wait to do our photos :)
Hi Kriste – sorry I made a mistake. There’s a purchase limit to 1 Groupon per person.
Regards,
Phoebe
so we get a cd with pictures that we can print ourselves? … any size?
Hi Jennifer – you will get a cd of pictures with basic touch-ups (i.e. color correction, cropping, contrast), you can print the photos up to 4×6 in size.

Hi,
What about prints larger than 4×6? Would we have to purchase those from the studio? What are the prices?
Hi Nicky S – our next larger size to 4×6 is the high resolution digital file. It costs $84/photo (i.e. with the Groupon). You can also purchase bigger prints from our studio with 25% off.
What is the file size and format of each photo that comes on CD?
Hi Rohit – the photo resolution that comes with the CD is 900×600 pixels at 150dpi. Prints perfectly on 4×6. Format is JPEG. File size varies.
Hi Asma K – the studio does not provide Hair and Makeup, but we do have props – hats/boas/parasols/masks, etc., however we do not provide costumes as of this time. thanks.
How many shots can you typically do in an hour session with one person? I’m assuming that the deal covers the 15 best in the group which you get to keep on CD, right? Do we get to select those or are they solely the studio’s decision? Thanks in advance.
Hi Barbara – we take unlimited shots during your photo shoot (approximately 60 shots or more) and yes you select the 15 best photos you want for your CD.

I am wondering about the location of the photo shoot. For anniversay photos, 2 people, where do you shoot? Do we have choice of backgrounds? I visited the website and all the photos are “on location” somewhere (railroad tracks, parks, church, etc). Where would the location be? And, is there any sitting fee?

Can a family use this deal more than once if they buy one and another is bought as a gift? How much extra does it cost to upgrade to on location?
Hey there, just wanted to answer your questions about todays Groupon. There are no sitting fees for the groupon feature. In addition, it can be upgraded for additional charge of $110. This upgrade includes a 2-3 photo session at a location of your choice. (reg $285)
Hope this helps!

Hi Deborah – the location will be indoors at our studio – our backgrounds are black, white, gray, marble – you get to choose what background you want. Most photos from our website are on location (in which case we charge an additional $110). For more studio shots – please check “Portraits” from our website – you’ll see the black and marble backgrounds. Thanks.
OH NO! I missed this deal….
I really need to get my son’s senior portraits done soon…… will this deal be back anytime in the near future? Anyway to purchase deals once they’ve “closed”????
Is anyone else frustrated by how misleading this deal was? I feel it should have been advertised up front that you would only receive a CD of 15 pictures that could ONLY be printed in 4 X 6 format. You need to pay more than $200.00 if you want to be able to print your own 5 × 7 or 8 × 10.
The coupon says replace all those old framed portraits. To me that implies something bigger than a 4 × 6.
I was really unhappy when my friend called to make her appointment and was told the specifics! She was told that she should have called before she purchased. Seriously, I purchased as a gift and I should not have had to call to find this out. It SHOULD have been advertised up front.
Wow, this is really misleading. You shouldn’t have to look all the way through the comments to find information integral to the deal. I’m going to get a refund.
I think its ridiculous that they are only open Mon – Fri 11am to 6pm. Most of us have jobs you know. How do I get a refund?
Fizza Q. – Agreed. Nowhere does it specify that their hours (just for the Groupon deal) are only M-F (I was told) 10-5pm! I, too, would like to know how to get a refund!
This was one deal that really wasn’t a deal. I had a rather negative experience with the owner.
After reading the comments I feel this is a scam instead of a deal. Groupon should have filtered this kind of “deal” out or at least included all the inportant facts in the fine print.

is there a limit to the number of people you can bring in? I would like to use this for my grandmother’s 80th birthday family portrait.
