Choose Between Two Options

  • $14 for a two-week unlimited gym membership, including hand wraps (a $37 value)
  • $28 for a one-month unlimited gym membership, including hand wraps (a $74 value)

Instructors start boxing classes with a basic warm-up before pitting participants against heavy bags, teaching them proper form for jabs, crosses, and hooks. Members gain access to the kickboxing Power Hour classes as well, during which trainers add legs to the mix, teaching exercisers how to perform rapid-fire front kicks, roundhouses, and back kicks. They’ll also incorporate medicine balls and body-weight-resistance exercises into the regimen to bolster cardio endurance. Participants choose their own intensity level for each workout. Title Boxing Club

Title Boxing Club began as a cocktail of talents: the fighting prowess of former professional boxer Danny Campbell, the acumen of businessman Tom Lyons, and the top-of-the-line gear from Title Boxing, LLC owners David Hanson and Tony Carbajo. Hanson and Carbajo provided the gym’s equipment and outfitted the first location with an onsite pro shop. Campbell put together two signature Power Hour workouts, one based on boxing and the other on kickboxing. Lyons took care of the franchising, and the club has spread all over the nation.

The Crystal Lake location boasts dozens of 90-pound heavy bags, installed into floor-to-ceiling black metal frames. Inside, participants can burn calories and learn some self-defense during boxing and kickboxing fitness classes. When the workout's over, they can head to the pro-shop area, where padded cage walls neatly separate the goods from the rest of the gym and provide an excellent place to duke it out over whose T-shirt looks better.
