Each one-hour boxing workout begins with a stretch and warm-up, followed by work on the heavy bag. Trainers teach students to execute jabs, crosses, and hooks, followed by a final 15 minutes of core and abdominal training. Kickboxing workouts similarly start with a warm-up, followed by fundamental kickboxing strikes. Instructors teach front kicks and roundhouse kicks, as well as punching techniques and conclude classes with medicine-ball exercises and body-weight-resistance training.
