We don’t waste time with older methods that don’t really help you reach your goals, work too slowly, or don’t work at all. Our staff is made up of patient, skilled instructors that understand this is YOUR time and they are here to work WITH you, whatever your goals or pace of learning. Starting age for piano and guitar?

Hi P! We recommend 6 years old for piano and at least 7 1/12 for guitar. There are several factors to consider for youngsters: physical size (especially for comfortably sitting with a guitar), attention span, reading ability, etc. That said we have current guitar students as young as 6 that have had great success; it really depends on the individual child. We have structured our program to provide a great balance of fun and challenge for our youngsters!

Hi Carl. That's correct! One on one private lessons, 30 minutes each. We schedule a weekly standing appointment once we match you to an instructor based on your interests and skill level. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for you inquiry Wendy! Weekday lessons are scheduled between 2:30 and 9:00 (last lesson of the day begins at 8:30). Our Friday schedule is the exception as we book between 2:30 and 7:00 (last lesson of the day begins at 6:30). Our Saturday schedule is 10:00 - 4:00 (last lesson begins 3:30). Please note that the availability of the day varies depending on the instrument (guitar, bass, drum, vocal, piano). Please let us know if you have any other questions.
