Unfortunately, this spa does not have very good reviews on yelp. I wish they had better service, I would have got into the deal.
I went here, despite the bad reviews, because I love the organic Eminence line. I had a great experience! Not only did Doina and the other professionals there make me feel completely welcome (as is not the case in other Newbury spas and salons), but Doina cleared up my face, which was pretty bad. I plan to go for her 7 herbs facial every month. I love the place.
it sounds like this deal has been on before and yelp has posted comments by people who have got there groupon on and were not satisfied with the service at this spa the last time you ran it, way are you running it a again?
I bought this for my wife last time around, and she said she loved it. Yelp is weird sometimes, so I dont always trust it – make sure you look at other peer review sights as well. Just got off the phone with Doina, she said that one could use the Groupon for any spa services.

I ditched my hairstylist of 10 years for Toscana! I moved to the Boston area recently from Maynard and was in desperate need of finding a good hairstylist – and somewhere close! I absolutely love Rene Furterer – so that is what caught my eye first. I ended up getting a cut and color- which looked better than any color service I’ve had and my hair was SO SOFT after I left! If you’re new to the area or just looking to explore a new place to get your hair done- seriously, go here!
As you all know Yelp is currently involved in a class action lawsuit for deleting all positive comments for businesses who do not pay to belong to their rating service. Google this and you will verify it. They basically extort businesses into paying to have the good reviews up. Toscana has best of Boston stylists, was voted top 5 spa’s by Cityvoter, and has a sister spa in Cumberland who was Best of RI for old school facial. You have nothing to lose by trying it out.

What happens to remaining balance when facials range $85. – 100. Can it be applied towards tipping perhaps?
Gratuity is not included in the groupon. Please tip on full amount of service. However any left over can be put on a gift card and used for another service at your leisure…hope this helps.
Does the Expiration date matter? it says it has to be used by tomorrow?
The expiration is a year. It can be used after tomorrow I believe…
So can groupon confirm… if I buy a $85 facial with this coupon then I will get a $35 gift certificate to make up the difference?
I am writing from Toscana. Yes you can get $35 gift cert for the difference to be used for another service (hair or facial) but it cannot be used as gratuity.
If my husband and I get hair cut (assuming $75 each), can we both pay $120 with this coupon from the groupon and $30+tax+tips from cash?
In the past we’ve bought gift certificates from Toscana for friends and so far everybody has been very happy. I would not rely on sites such as Yelp given their poor record. If you plan a day out in Boston this coupon would be a cherry on the cake …
Yes Livia this is correct but it cannot be used for groups in general over 2 people even if each person has one… we generally tend to accommodate couples and pairs of friends so yes you can do the two haircuts as you suggested. (Toscana)

We really do appreciate it and will do everything in our power to make you happy, especially in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your service.
I’ve had a wonderful experience at Toscana whenever I went, and the haircuts I get there are the best I ever had; in the past I used to get mine every two months, but these look fab even past that mark, such that I am able cut my hair less often and finally grow it out!
Facials and Hair. Does this mean that you cannot use for waxing or massage or their other services?
