elphaba, i totally disagree with you. i’ve bought and used groupons at any number of wonderful places and have gotten great service — massage, restaurants, cooking classes, skiing, chocolate making, fresh pasta stores…. most of them had good reputations and honestly i was happy with every single one of them. just because some people on yelp gave this place a bad rating doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. and even if it is, groupon’s track record is really good.
*Could this coupon be used toward a different type of massage? I prefer deep tissue over Swedish. I see that the facial can be substituted, but it does not mention whether that can be done for the massage portion. Thank you!
Could part of this coupon be used to buy any of their facial products instead of having a massage?
This groupon cannot be used to buy products given its great discount. It can be used for facial or massage services and if you would like a massage that is a different type or price than the one advertised we are happy to substitute if you pay the difference. same with facials — you can upgrade and pay a difference. hopw this helps

Hello. I was just wondering if the groupon could be used for two people. One gets the facial and the other the massage? I was thinking about giving my mother the choice for valentines day and we could have mommy/daughter day together. Is this possible?

I agree. When are groupons available? Starting at midnight? A 9am sell out seems a bit ridiculous to me too, but maybe they are just THAT good. Oh well…guess we won’t be trying them.
OH man! How frustrating! I have my card out and everything to pay. I need this groupon so badly, and living right around the corner I would be back often. SO disappointing. I mean I just got access to a computer. Seems unfair to have a groupon that runs out to quickly. Please do more groupons like these… there is obviously the demand!
Wish I had logged in earlier! This would make a great Valentine’s Day gift. I’d wager that is why it sold out so quickly this morning.
Oh, and on that note, I hope Groupon has similarly themed deals again this week.

I agree with Susan! The offer sold out at 9:15 am and I didn’t even get the email until 10:45 am! I am very disappointed that there were only 500 offered. I definitely would have bought one and I would have used it in the very near future! And I also disagree with the first reviewer. Groupon participants usually get 5 star reviews and I’ve heard wonderful things about Toscana (its true, but I’m also trying to butter up the owners to put out more groupons if you are reading :-)!)
i tried this salon about 2 years ago. awful. tried again because of the groupon offer. dreadfully awful. after booking, i got 3 phone calls from the salon trying to “confirm” my appt. they didn’t even know who i was. after all that, they didn’t know who i was when i arrived…service was scheduled wrong, etc. i waited 1/2 hour (along with two other clients) with no explanation. one girl was eventually told there was no room for her, so they would do here EYEBROW WAXING in the waiting area! shocking, and unsanitary. eventuallly i got a horrible massage by a girl chomping and sucking on some hard candy the whole time. the facial was worse. i don’t even think the woman knew what she was doing. i IMMEDIATELY broke out after leaving there. it was horrendous. the place should be shut down. what a waste of my money and time.

It is so disappointing that Groupon only seems to have places that have received horrible reviews as clients. I suppose it makes sense, their reputation is mud, so they are desperate for new business.
I have a crazy idea. Improve your service and your reputation will improve, you’ll start getting positive reviews, and won’t have to rely on gimmicks.
