David Car and Shane Kelley know their way around cameras. Kelley parlayed her stint as one of the first female photojournalists at a large Canadian daily newspaper—the Toronto Sun—into jobs for Time, People, Newsweek, the Just For Laughs Montreal International Comedy Festival, and the actual sun. A pro shutterbug instructor for more than 25 years, Car has snapped photos for Gator's Gym Gear and the Vancouver Jazz Festival, earning a reputation as an expert in graphics and up-and-coming media along the way. Now paired up as the principals behind ToucanShoot, the duo leads students through hands-on workshops and picture-taking expeditions and immortalize images at events ranging from weddings to theatre performances.
