Questions and Answers

Good Morning Jessiga,
Unfortunately there’s a limit of one Groupon per person, but feel free to send this to your friend so she can purchase it for herself!
Enjoy, and get your Groupon!

Hi Jessiga!
When it says “only 2 people per class may use a Groupon,” does that mean each person (up to 2 people in your party) can use a Groupon, or only 1 person out of the 2 in your party can use a Groupon?

Hi Tom,
Since there are only 8 people in each class, only 2 of those 8 will be able to be Groupies. So, if you and a friend are both going to class with Groupons, simply call and reserve 2 spots in class and mention that you both have Groupons.
Hope this helps! Enjoy, and get your Groupon!

i wanted to give one as a gift, can i purchase this twice? with the intent on using it for myself and another person

Hi Scott,
So sorry, only 1 per person – BUT perhaps you can buy your friend a $25 Groupon gift card that they can use to purchase today’s Groupon for themselves?
Hope this helps! Enjoy, and get your Groupon!

What if I have more than one friend I’d like to take the class with? Many of my friends buy Groupons, but we can’t all go take this class together… that sucks! I think it’s pretty crappy that they limit to only 2 people per class! Crappy, I say!!!
So if two people with Groupons have already reserved spots in a particular class I cannot go to that class even if I don’t know them?
is this one class enough to even get to anything fun? or are you just going to be swinging around on a pullup bar the whole time like the pic?

Hi Groupies!
Maria – that is correct. Luckily Trapeze Arts has a big schedule of classes to choose from so they can accommodate everyone!
Ryan – This Groupon will definitely let you have fun! From the Trapeze Arts website, “Fly through the air with the greatest of ease… just like you see in the circus. During the first class, participants learn the basics. You’ll hang by your knees on a stationary bar, then proceed up the ladder to the flying trapeze! After practicing a knee hang position for execution and timing, you may even be ready by the end of the class to attempt a catch with our catcher… and this is just the beginning!”
Enjoy, and get your Groupon!

I’ve taken two classes at Trapeze Arts and they are SO fun. At the end of my first lesson, I was able to do the catch from a knee hang, and after the second lesson they have you doing heel hang and heels off. You definitely do a lot of flying.
Are you sure there is no exception to the 2 Groupon per class rule? I’ve got 2 other friends who’ve signed up for the Groupon, and it’d be fun for the three of us to go together.
I have never done been to a class at Trapeze Arts, but have flewn other places. Do I have to go to the beginner class with the groupon?

Hi Taryn!
Thanks so much for the feedback! Since you’re not a new student at Trapeze Arts and this Groupon is only for new students, you can actually go to a class with 2 of your friends and they can be the 2 Groupies in that class!
Hope that helps! Enjoy, and get your Groupon!
how do you unsubscribe to following a topic by email?

Hi Facebook User,
Please feel free to call Trapeze Arts and let them know your level of experience before purchasing this Groupon just in case you qualify for the higher level class.
Ryan – I believe if you post something again and un-check the “Follow this topic by email,” you’ll stop getting the updates. If you need an idea of something to post, I’ll let you know I really enjoy haikus… just an idea!

we’re looking down on wayne’s basement…
only, that’s not wayne’s basement.
isn’t that weird?
If this expires 4/10, that gives us 22 weeks. With 9 classes a week, that means we have 207 classes to choose from between now and then. With 2 groupons per class allowed, that means your chances of ever getting a class on a weekend are practically nil, and getting 2 people in a class even less so. Thoughts?

can this be purchased and given to a friend as a gift to use?

Hey Groupies!
Great news! In response to Morgan’s concern, the fine folks at Trapeze Arts have agreed to extend the expiration on this to June 1st, so everyone (including those who have yet to purchase the Groupon) will have plenty of time to redeem and get their fly on!
Tu-Anh – Yes! You may give this to your friend!

Hi Groupies -
One more thing – there seems to be a bit of confusion about when the classes are offered. Flying Trapeze classes are available 6 days a week (they’re closed on Mondays) including 5 classes on weekends. (http://trapezearts.com/classes.php) So, there’s plenty of room for everyone and there should definitely be a class available to fit your schedule!
Hope this helps! Enjoy, and get your Groupon!

How far in advance do you suggest making reservations a weekend class?

Hi Victoria -
So sorry I didn’t get to your question last night! I would recommend reserving your spot in class as soon as you know when you would like to go since the spots will be filled up on a first come, first served basis!
Enjoy!
-Erica
…and the spots sure did fill up. Bummer. I was out of commission for a while physically, and now that I’m healed up from surgery, I can’t make use of the groupon at all, because everything is booked up for the next three weeks! Bye-bye, $25!

oh KNOW SERIOUS!?!! i WAS GONNA TRY AND GO THIS WEEKEND!!! :(

They said that they can still honor the groupon but you’ll have to pay an extra $10
I think that is silly that we only had 7 months to use it. Is there any way to get around the $10 extra fee?? Please help. Groupon!!!
I gave this as a gift and when my friend called to use get a reservation they told her all the Groupon spots were alreday taken so she will not be able to use the gift before it expires. She called about 6 weeks out. The facility was also pretty snippy with her about it and basically told her “tough luck”. Please refrain from dealing with companies in the future that aren’t going to be more pleasant to their consumers. This girl was really interested in using the Groupon and considering taking subsequent lessons from them to follow up, but now is pretty turned off by them.
my friend and I weren’t able to use our groupon’s either. fail.

Would it be possible to purchase more than one, so that a friend can take the class with you? When I tried to purchase this groupon, it only allowed me to purchase one groupon.
Thanks.
