What happens if I buy the deal and after consultation with the acupunturist it is determined that I cannot be helped by acupunture. Do I get my money back ($20)?

Hello Olga, No, I am sorry Groupon controls the cost of service in this case. Our regular rates are on our website and you are welcome to come into the clinic outside of Groupon if you decide it is a type of medicine you would like to try. Our website is http://www.treehouseacupuncture.com Each case is different, but pain management is one of the most common health concerns that acupuncture deals with. Ultimately, you need to decide what works for you, and we understand that can often be a frustrating process.

I had a hip replacement surgery almost 2 years ago,and according to my doctor I should be totally pain free after 8 months but I still have pain in my groin despite the fact that everything looks good after having 2 cat scans!! Do you think acupuncture could help me ?? Looking forward to hear from you

Christina O.

Hello Maria, yes post-operative pain is a common health concern for which patients come to the Tree House Wellness Center. We have experience with patients that are experiencing pain similar to what you describe who have found relief with acupuncture treatments. It is necessary for a doctor to examine you to give you specific information regarding your case because a diagnosis needs to be done in person. We would be happy to have you come to the center for a consultation to review your case and come up with a treatment plan.

I have been diagnosed with meralgia paresthetic (am not sure about the spelling), which causes discomfort on my left thigh. The neurologist told me this comes from a compressed nerve coming from the waist that affects the outer side of the thigh. Do you think I could benefit from acupuncture? Thank you for your reply.

Do you use disposable needles for this treatment?

Yale M. asked 3 months, 15 days, 19 hours, and 7 minutes ago - 1 answer

Christina O.

Yes. In the United States, acupunturists should be using single-use disposable needles that are typically made from stainless steel. Dr. McGinley is an acupunturist licensed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. At the Tree House Wellness Center we follow the national regulations set for acupuncture which include safety practices.
