The Rochester Area Jaycees Haunted Tunnel of Terror

The Rochester Area Jaycees Haunted Tunnel of Terror is proof that the art of making people scream never gets old. For more than 40 years, visitors have braved the tunnel's pitch-black hallways, testing their last nerve against a maze filled with bug-eyed monsters and dismembered body parts as they descend deeper and deeper into the labyrinth's maddening grip. The jumps, screams, and nightmares are for a good cause, however, as proceeds go to the Rochester Area Jaycees. Boys and ghouls too young for the scary main event can also drop by on October 20th for the "friendly monster" tour, where they can explore the tunnel with the lights left on and all the terrible vegetables concealed from sight.

Though The Rochester Area Jaycees Haunted Tunnel of Terror sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.

The Groupon Guide to: Cider House Rules

When the temperature cools and the soil becomes too hard to bury stuff in, fall has officially arrived. And there's no better place to visit during fall than the Cider House. Here are some rules that you are expected to abide by at the Cider House:

• Take off your shoes. This is a Cider House, not a Cider Barn.
• Don’t let bugs in. This is a Cider House, not a Spider House.
• No running by the Cider Pool.
• No talking back to the Cider Master.
• No apple juice.
• Treat Others As You Would Want to Be Treated.™ (trademarked by the Cider House)
• When filling out the comment card, check the box marked “This Cider House rules!”
• Keep out of the cider, you kings of New Jersey.

When will my city have a Cider House?
