Choose from Three Options

  • $89 for one LED photofacial and one IPL photofacial (a $475 value)
  • $149 for two LED photofacials and two IPL photofacials (a $950 value)
  • $249 for three LED photofacials and three IPL photofacials (a $1,425 value)

During an IPL photofacial treatment, a technician traces over skin on the face and neck with a device that emits intense pulsed light. The light can neutralize the appearance of hyperpigmentation, rosacea, age spots, and broken capillaries, and it also stimulates the production of collagen to fill in fine lines. The team suggests waiting two weeks after an IPL photofacial for an LED photofacial, which relies on narrow-spectrum light to eradicate the bacteria that causes acne while further boosting collagen so that skin looks younger.

Turn Back Time Day Spa

At Turn Back Time Day Spa, it may seem that the Harmony cosmetic laser system is the hardest working staff member. The ultramodern device, when guided by one of the spa’s technicians, emits pulses of light onto clients’ skin in order to eliminate or mute conditions including rosacea, age spots, fine lines, and the bacteria that causes acne. Hair follicles can also absorb the Harmony laser’s glow, becoming disabled at the root and subsequently resisting future growth.

In addition to offering a full spectrum of laser treatments, the spa maintains a stock of dermal fillers, including Botox, which can be injected into the skin in order to smooth countenances before high-stakes poker matches. Massage modalities with aims ranging from manipulating deep tissues to boosting lymphatic drainage help to keep the rest of clients’ bodies relaxed and functioning properly.

The Groupon Guide to: DVD Commentary Reveals

DVD commentaries can be fonts of behind-the-scenes trivia about all your favorite flicks. What are some secrets we learned from watching the special features?

  • Only half the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were real dinosaurs.
  • Robert De Niro is a joy to work with, really gets to know everyone on set.
  • The reason there are so many Batman movies is because the mask lets producers cast interchangeable nonunion stuntmen that are cheap and easy to knock around.
  • Marty Scorsese is a joy to work with, takes time to get to know people.
  • The special effects in Toy Story were done with computers.
  • Claymation skeletons are a joy to work with, spend a lot of time sword fighting folks during breaks.
  • Star Wars is based on a true trilogy.

What behind-the-scenes movie secrets did we learn from director’s commentaries?
