The Fine Print

Horsemanship is the mastery of riding and grooming, unlike Manhorseship, which is just a good name for a centaur's yacht. Take the reins with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $18 for 1 one-hour lesson or 2 half-hour lessons (a $60 value)
  • $40 for 3 one-hour lessons or 6 half-hour lessons (a $180 value)
  • $65 for 5 one-hour lessons or 10 half-hour lessons (a $300 value)

Students spend about an additional half hour brushing and getting to know the horses before mounting, after which they learn riding and gait basics. Riders need to wear ankle-high boots with a smooth sole and a half-inch heel, full-length pants, and a properly fitting helmet. See the FAQ page for more details.

Instructor Hannah Padgett first fell in love with American Saddlebred horses at age 5, so when it came time to establish a business in 2006, she knew there was really only one thing she wanted to do. With experience in riding, showing, and working for some of the field’s most prolific trainers, she shares her expertise at the facility’s outdoor riding areas, which include several miles of trails. In addition to showing amateurs the ropes, she instills showmanship in both horses and riders, including some state and national champions.
