Choose Between Two Options

  • $99.99 for a six-hour guided kayak tour for two (a $250 value)
  • $139.99 for a six-hour guided kayak tour for four (a $500 value)

The six-hour adventure escorts groups through the calm, reef-protected waters around Kailua Bay. After a brief kayaking lesson, an experienced naturalist leads adventurers to offshore islets to learn how to catch waves, where they might also spot wildlife such as the Hawaiian green sea turtle. Along the way, the guide spouts facts about the area's wildlife, geology, and tales of Hawaiian history. Groups then park their kayaks on a nearby beach, where they can eat lunch and snorkel. Groups then retrieve their kayaks and continue on to more islets inhabited by colorful, indigenous seabirds. Tours, which launch daily at 9 a.m., include a kayak, life jacket, paddle, picnic lunch, snorkeling gear, dry bag, and padded backrest for each person.

Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.

Twogood Kayaks

Oahu endears itself to both visitors and locals with its truly breathtaking scenery. The Ko'olau Mountain Range slopes across the island with rolling green hills and steep peaks that overlook Kailua Bay. Off the sandy shore, the ocean plays host to an array of aquatic wildlife, such as sea turtles, dolphins, exotic fish, and kayakers. The last of these creatures comes from Twogood Kayaks, whose trained naturalists lead tours through the area's brilliant turquoise waters and offshore islets filled with natural coves and 12 species of seabirds.

In addition to garnering a reputation for making and selling some of the swiftest kayaks over the past 30 years, the staffers also train the next generation of competitors during camps and clinics.
