Groupon: Collective Buying Power

i see the Groupon is good for 490..what happens if i buy something for $60 – do i lose the $30 balance

Also – assuming if I find something for $200 – i can only apply 1 Groupon to it and pay the 110 balance in cash?

The groupon can be applied toward shipping, but does not retain a balance. If your balance is higher than $90, you can pay the balance with a credit card.

Only 1 Groupon per order but you can buy multiple for separate orders if you wish.

Hi, I just tried to purchase a photograph total = $75, I applied the coupon but it won’t apply it to the shipping cost. It leaves me a balance of $20 to pay even though the coupon is worth $90. What do I do?

My coupon comes out to $75 and it won’t go towards shipping.

I’m having the same problem with the balance not being put towards shipping – my cart is only $80 and still the shipping is $30.

I had the same problem with shipping, but went ahead and bought the art anyway – later the same day someone at Ugallery emailed me saying they credited my card back for the shipping amount (since the art was only $50, and the shipping $18, together less than the $90 groupon). Thanks Ugallery!

It’s Stephen from Ugallery.com. Just now logging into this thread! First, thank you to everyone for their support. I see a few shipping and photograph questions. The GroupOn is not supposed to be used for photography, and is why we do not credit shipping on these orders. For all other artwork, our shopping cart is not set up to include shipping in the coupon, but if your order consists of non photography and is below $90, we will apply the balance towards shipping and credit your card back.

My groupon was to expire today, August 4th. Why is it showing up in my expired folder this morning? Seems to me it should still be showing as active until midnight tonight. Please advise. Thanks.

It should still be active and valid if you try and use it at Ugallery today. Let me know if you have any issues!

Stephen: I tried using it and it shows up as “coupon expired” on Ugallery when I enter it into the ENTER COUPON CODE part of my purchasing screen. Can you help resolve?

Hi Mary, You are correct. If it is non photography and total with shipping is under $90, we will credit your card the shipping charge so you are not charged anything.

Framing costs on 11 by 14 photography are exhorbitant! Wish this had been part of the discussion. Really regretting this G! Way too large a total final price. Sticker shock? Try sticker coma.
