The Fall Harvest Festival takes place on October 12th from noon to 6 p.m. Each ticket includes access to grape stomping, a tasting of eight Unionville wines, and a tour of the winery. The festival includes live performances from two bands, including energetic rock covers and original songs by Tastes Like Chicken. Visitors can also take in specialty food demonstrations and wine and cheese pairing demos, or take part in kids' activities such as pumpkin painting or hayrides.
The award-winning wines of Unionville Vineyards are made from ripe grapes that grow across five sprawling estate vineyards spreading over 54 acres of land. The vineyard offerings include varietals such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Syrah, and Viognier. The vineyards' first vines were planted in 1988, and Napa Valley veteran Cameron Stark has worked steadily to improve the rootstock and selection of grapes ever since.
