As part of a L'Oréal Professional Elite Salon, all of Unique Touch Hair Design & Tanning Studio's staff members are L'Oréal trained and participate in continuing-education classes to stay on the cusp of trends. This philosophy of continual learning comes from owner Anna Martins, who has run the salon for the past 28 years, and it has earned Unique Touch an award for best beauty salon.

In that salon, natural light pours through the large front windows onto bronze Romanesque columns with elegant faux-marble bases. Amid these vintage accents, skilled stylists carve dainty layers and colour tresses with confident highlights.
