$50 for Two-Hour Introductory Group Surfing Lesson ($100 Value)

The veteran instructors at University of Surfing tutor pupils on the basics of wave riding during two-hour introductory classes. After steadying board footing on land, students mount longboards that help them to safely outsmart the ocean’s waves and the air’s wayward seagulls. Since classes are taught in shallow waters during low tide, instructors can accommodate students aged 5–70 who possess basic swimming skills. An included wetsuit and booties keep skin comfortable no matter the weather or water temperature. Classes are usually held on Saturday and Sunday, with some exceptions; potential students can click here for the full calendar.
