$59 for a Down & Dirty Date Night Package ($125 Total Value)

  • Two-hour Down & Dirty Date Night pottery class for two (a $25 value)
  • Household membership to the UICA (a $75 value)
  • $25 gift card for dinner at San Chez before the class

Down & Dirty Date Nights begin at San Chez, where couples pluck a shareable dinner from a menu of Spanish tapas sometime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There, grilled beef tenderloin with cherry demi-glace ($14.99) joins vegetarian tapas and saffron-rice fritters with bacon and shrimp ($8.99). Couples then head over to the UICA for a pottery class at 7 p.m. While of-age patrons sip wine brought from home, they work together to craft a bowl on a throwing wheel, gleaning advice from a professional artist. To see a complete list of available dates, click here.

With the included membership, up to four people in the household enjoy free admission to UICA for one year. Members receive discounts on films, special events, and classes, with subjects ranging from pottery to designing your own jewelry. The membership also comes with invitations to members-only events and a 10% discount at the UICA Shop, on framing at LaFontsee Galleries, and at San Chez.
