Questions and Answers

What if i'm not sure if my friend has been to UYS or not? I'd like to give this as a gift but it says "new clients only". What will happen if my friend has already been to UYS and I just don't know it?

If you'd like me to look up your friends previous visits to UYS, I am happy to......I can let you know once I look up the visits. Thanks, Kathy

Can you only use this groupon if you've never taken classes at the studio?

it says "expires August 14th, 2013 and 10 class pass does not expire". Does it mean that we can have until August 14, 2013 to redeem our coupons but once the coupon is activated, I can have as long as I want to just the rest of the 10 class passes?

Ly S. asked 9 months, 17 days, 1 hour, and 33 minutes ago - 1 answer

Christina B.

Sorry for any confusion. Please redeem your Groupon before the Aug. 14, 2013 expiration date. You may then complete the rest of your classes at your convenience.

Hi there - it says that you can buy 2 and 1 more for a friend - so does that mean I can have 20 classes for myself and 10 classes for a friend?

Kathy U.

Yes, it sure does. Thanks, Kathy

Do you only offer Hot Yoga or is regular Yoga also available?

All of our Yoga is Hot Yoga. The practice is Hatha and Power Yoga, in a Hot Room. The benefits of the heat are amazing.....here are a few: 1) Kick-Starts your Circulation, which is a huge benefit. 2) Enables your flexibility. It works like iron and fire.....enables the lengthening of muscles, which increases your range of motion. 3) Strengthens your mind. It is normal when you're geting started, to get mad at the heat.....blame the heat. Over time, you learn to work through the mental side of this which strengthens your mind. The mental benefit is enormous......the translation in your real-life is gaining the ability to work through challenging situations with ease. Most everyone who walks through our front door says they don't like the heat.....once they try, they always say they can't believe that they let that belief stand in the way of doing this practice! Hope this helps! Kathy

I've never taken any yoga classes at all. Healthy, but not not used to doing any excercises. age mid 50. Do you have beginners clsseses, and if there is, can I use my Groupon for the beginners class? Any early morning hours?

Doris K. asked 9 months, 17 days, 4 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

Kathy U.

Hi Doris. All of our classes are mulit-level, where the Instructor teaches how to modify, or intensify, Yoga postures during class.. Most every class has brand new students to Yoga.....you're not alone! Every student is welcome to lay down and have water whenever they may feel overwhelmed, then begin again when they are ready. We do have a Power Vinyasa Basics class, where the Instructior spends more time on "how to do" a posture. That said, I recommend you come to any class that fits your schedule. This practice will be an amazing experience for you as it works 100% of your body, stimulates circulation and rids the body of toxins. Your age is not an issue.....believe me, people of all ages practice here! Hope to see you there.....Kathy
