Is it possible to get the vhs transfer as a .mov file as well as a transfer to dvd? Do you charge extra for that?

Yes I can do video encoding to digital file. The process is different and more complicated so I charge $16/hr for it. An external hard drive would be required for storage

I use priority United States postal.. usually a decent order fills the $10 box....if its larger than there is a $15 box.

I have several home videos that I only want parts of transferred to DVD. Can I, for example, just ask for the first 15 minutes or the last 30 minutes of a videotape to be transferred? If yes, then what about a 30-minute section in the middle of a tape? Thanks!

Mary P. asked 9 months, 3 days, 4 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

Matthew V.

Yes we can do that for you. It's up to you to know when and where you want the recordings to stop and start. I do not provide the equipment to do this.

I have several dvd's, 15 minutes each. I would like to have them all concentrated into as few dvd's as possible. Can you do that work?

Kevin C. asked 9 months, 3 days, 7 hours, and 25 minutes ago - 1 answer

Matthew V.

Yes we can put 2 hours worth on 1 DVD. With those little DVDs you have, depending on how many you have, we will give you a discounted rate because of the shortness. Better to buy the all service voucher instead of the tapes voucher.

Matthew V. answered 9 months, 3 days, 7 hours, and 11 minutes ago

My VHS tapes are each 6 hours long. Does tranferring one of those to DVD count as one transfer?

Bonnie asked 9 months, 3 days, 9 hours, and 42 minutes ago - 2 answers

Matthew V.

1 DVD holds up to 2 hours of video. There is a $5 charge to continue the recording process onto another DVD each time. So a 4 hour tape would be $17.50 and a 6 hour tape $22.50. Of course you don't have to get the whole tape copied if you do not want to either.
