Van Scoy uses a three-step approach to treat balding or thinning hair. First, technicians perform two 20-minute laser-light treatments per week, during which clients sit beneath a dome that emits low-level-laser energy designed to stimulate growth in living hair follicles. Second, a scalp therapist uses high-frequency stimulation, scalp manipulation, and prescribed pharmaceutical-grade products in 45- to 60-minute sessions every other week. Finally, Van Scoy prescribes pharmaceutical-grade products for home use (not included with this Groupon). A second microscopic magnification, performed 90 days after the first, allows technicians to gauge progress and uncover tiny love letters left behind by former combs.
