It wasn't what I expected. I took my little boy as I thought it would have amazingly built Lego like Lego land type creations but it was simply a competition with minor stuff and sales. I'm sure it was fun for the kids who participated in the contest

Misleading Groupon ad. The tickets I bought were useless because my son couldn't participate in the kids' "Brick Games" event, which wasn't mentioned in the Groupon. Only the Vancouver Lego Games spectator event was listed. I found out about the "Brick Games" two days before going, only because I looked up the address and found a related link. What I learned was that kids could particpate in a Lego contest by bringing their own creation, which would be judged, and take part in a building contest. My son had no time to make anything but was excited about building Lego there with other kids. When we arrived, after I'd arranged to have the day off, we were told he had to register in advance to participate. I felt terrible, and he was crying, my nine-year-old Lego-loving boy. When I spoke to a supposed marketing person ("Chris," from Jelly Marketing) and asked why the Groupon didn't say anything about the "Brick Games," his defensive reply was: "You bought spectator tickets." Well, there weren't any professionals making Lego! It wasn't a sporting event. They were kids making Lego, and my kid couldn't participate. The only thing we could do was buy Lego! But I don't need to pay $30 to see Lego items and pay for Lego! You can do that in a store. The guy offered me a refund after I emailed him but he never replied to my email. I later called Groupon and got a credit, not a refund as I'd requested. Langley, B.C., is a long way from where we live, and we left this ripoff scene in 10 minutes. So the whole day was a huge disappointment.

it was small and dark in the lego gamne event. It wasn't what I have expect, I though we will have change to explore different kind of lego via "play with it" but since we arrived around noon, we did not have change to enter the building contest and only able to browse through the event woth some other venders. Leave the event within 30 mins. won't go again.

Even with the Groupon, I found the event was expensive for the spectators. It's a nice concept, but given the actual amount of exhibits to see, it was pricey to charge $60 for four people, to spend 1 hour at the event.

Was expecting big Lego displays, but there were none. Not really worth going unless you know someone participating
