A Segway can reach a top speed of 12.5 miles per hour, akin to the top speeds of a squirrel or a fat, slow cheetah. Roll at your own pace with this Groupon.

Before each tour, a 10- to 15-minute training session helps familiarize riders with their Segway i2s. The upright wheeled apparatus follow the movements of their operators, helping them glide effortlessly through Downtown Vancouver, the shops of Ester Short Park, Fort Vancouver, and the Columbia River waterfront for the remaining 75 minutes. Riders are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops or high heels). Tours take place daily at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m., as well as by appointment.<p>
Vancouver Segway Tours
With its historical sites and lush greenery flanking the undulating Columbia River, Vancouver, Washington, is a Pacific Northwest paradise for the laid-back. This is just fine with Vancouver Segway Tours, a family-owned company that invites its patrons to experience the small city in one of the most relaxed manners—from a Segway.
The upright machines, which balance themselves through dynamic stabilization technology and yoga classes in their off-hours, respond to the movements of the rider, moving forward and backward along with the helmeted guests. This allows the riders to glide through the city's streets and park paths comfortably and confidently as they learn historic tidbits about the area.

“Wear comfortable shoes. Even though not walking, it's steady standing, balancing and controlling the Segway from your feet. It's really easy to ride after a brief tutorial. Fun for all ages! We had a great time, would love to go again! ”
“So much fun, easier than I thot!”
