During the initial consultation, a licensed vascular surgeon will evaluate the spider veins and determine their cause by discussing the patient’s health history and performing an ultrasound scan. Then, the surgeon will gently inject the surface veins with an FDA-approved solution, designed to break down the veins over time. During 30-minute follow-up sessions, a technician will target any lingering veins with additional injections.
