How young can the climbers be? In particular, I’m wondering if the activity is too difficult for my 6 year old and 8 year old.

I was not able to get in touch with the guys over at VV. They open in a couple of hours though. The waiver and site do not specify a minimum age. Feel free to contact them when they open to have all your questions answered. If I get word from them before that I will post it here.

Do I have the ability to split up the 5 day punch card between 2 people? For instance – can I go once by myself and take a friend with me the next 2 times, equaling 5 total punches? thanks

Deidre – your kids are the perfect age for climbing. They will be climbing all over the place. What they will not be doing is belaying (handling the ropes) – we’ll teach you the class on how to do that for your kids.

Justin – you can split the punches up.

Thank you, Chris! Yes, I’m relieved to hear I do not have to put my faith in my 6-year-old remembering to hold the rope when I’m climbing :)

If the kids are the only ones who are climbing (and I am belaying the whole time) do I need to buy a pass for me too, or just the two for the kids? I have belayed before and was certified at the time (but it’s been quite some time)

Deidre – If you’re not climbing, you will not need to pay for entry. Glad to hear you’ve belayed before, we’ll freshen those rust safety skills right up!
