What do you mean "Must purchase 1 food item"? Of course we must buy a food item in order to use the coupon. The statement is strange. Is it supposed to convey a different meaning?

Sorry for the confusion! This stipulation simply means you cannot spend the entire Groupon on alcohol. You must purchase food as well.
