Many people are intimidated by wine's subtle flavours and endless varieties, but did you know that it's actually just juice made from vodka-infused grapes? Learn other things my cousin told me about with this Groupon.

$74 for a Winemaking Experience and Kit ($149 Value)

The experience begins when clients select a Grand Cru International five-week winemaking kit. Customers choose from reds such as bold Australian cabernet sauvignon or Italian primitivo or whites such as California chardonnay or California white zinfandel. After selecting a kit, clients begin by simply sprinkling yeast into the grape concentrate to get the process started. During the five weeks that follow, Vine Masters' staff will ensure the wine is moved into a fresh, sanitized container, balanced with fining agents, and filtered using a six-pad system to guarantee the final product is sediment-free. The result yields 30 bottles; visitors may bring their own bottles from home or purchase them at Vine Masters for $1 each. This offer also includes labels, corks, and shrinks to complete the packaging.

Vine Masters

Beyond just a shared enthusiasm for wine, the staffers at Vine Masters are vintners themselves, constantly crafting and sampling the fermented fruits of their labour. Exclusively stocking RJ Spagnols wine kits, Vine Masters offers visitors the opportunity to create more than 225 types of wine. The team makes sure each batch of vino is taken care of from start to finish, tending to varietals by moving them into sanitized containers and then stabilizing, filtering, and singing "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" to their contents each night.
